SIU Aviation is a proud member of our community and is committed to providing opportunities to our youth. As such, we offer a number of programs designed to allow children and teenagers the opportunity to experience aviation first-hand.
Our youth programs range from field trips to the Southern Illinois Airport and Transportation Education Center to youth summer camps such as Summer Wings. Other outreach programs include airline-sponsored career days for prospective aviation students to learn more about aviation careers and educational opportunities at SIU.
